A careful thumb brushed away some unruly curls. Theo was always an early riser. In this new life as well. He had been up since 5:30, making breakfast, dressing, tuning his guitar. After an omelette for himself, Theo had chopped up some of the house's fruit basket for his roommates. He snatched a pineapple morsel and took to his laptop.

This was all so comfortable. To the point of disbelief. The decor, the money, the momentary stillness. It was too odd not to be living in a small crap apartment in New York, whoring his music at clubs and street corners.

Theo breathed a happy sigh and returned to that past, for a sweet moment.

Hey guys! I'm settling into the new house. I know I said I'd write you earlier, but it's been a crazy week. I recorded a single with some producers already. We're hoping it will get some radio play within the month. It still feels so surreal. I can't believe I'm in such a big label. And the reality show business? Big brother does exist I guess.

Anyway, I'm doing great. I should be able to see all you soon enough, I haven't started recording my first album yet.
