Jon
Jon listened to his brother do his bit on how he didn't really follow the rules but it was for the benefit of his men...the usual really. When his brother called for all persons above Sergeant to step forward he did so, had to make up for his tardiness after all. His helmet kept his brother from seeing his face change, a slight twitch of his eyebrows really but he wasn't going to make a deal of it after all orders were absolute. If his brother found Eli a better second than himself he'd deal with it silently and without any different treatment from a standard CO, as one of his brother's claimed squad leader he was back in his comfort zone. Jon smirked, this was infinitely better than a desk job.

A.D.A.M.
A.D.A.M. felt two blips in the ship's database, while engaging with Clyde in an attempt to understand a joke he investigated them. One of them originated from the Captain's Quarters, territory A.D.A.M. wasn't going to intrude upon unless necessary. If it came from there and went silent he wasn't meant to know about, an infuriating process he'd address later. The other blip was more interesting, it was wrapped in a code loop; rather than break it A.D.A.M. "knocked" he had never experienced this before so he intended to approach this with caution.

It was then he got Clyde's private message and responded such an arrangement could work but standard navigation and if necessary FTL can compensate on the error, if nothing else if we linked we'd have to put ourselves at the minimum safe distance to not be rendered hostile upon system entry.
