Angel stepped back into the camp, smiling broadly, humming to herself as she often did. She glanced at the other girl and offered her a friendly grin. Angel liked this girl, she was fun, and smart. Evaluating. Angel had noticed Ace's eyes on her suspiciously a few times, but she had seemed to pass Ace's tests, whatever they were. If any sort of fight ever broke out between them, they would both walk away, most likely, with horrible injuries. Mental note to Angel: stay on Ace's friendly side.

She plopped herself in front of the fire and began to skin the rabbit, methodical, quiet, stripping fur and gristle from the tender meat. She speared it with an arrow and propped it close to the flames, waiting as it began to cook. She wasn't all that hungry, she realized, but she needed some form of sustenance in her.

"Hey Ace," she said, "wanna see a trick?" Angel picked up her crossbow and raised an eyebrow, smirk full of mischief, as was usual for the dark-haired girl.
