Valerie

Squinting in the darkness, Ananda heard another voice. Not one of the other captives, a demon. Straining her vision, she could barely make out long blonde tresses. Listening in on their brief conversation, she heard Aidan explaining their situation. The blonde stood by and surveyed the area briefly. A faint clicking noise could be heard. Valerie wasn't sure why, but she despised the noise. Something about it made her uncomfortable, and utterly frightened. It sounded all too familiar, though, and Valerie didn't know why. The noise corresponded with fear in her mind, and she believed that the creator of the noise had done something to her. Shaking away the thought, she tried pulling herself up with the support of a few nearby cinder blocks. Getting up hurt, but moving was impossible. Her leg might as well be gone since it offered no use then providing pain. "I don't think I can move. My leg. . . " she pointed to the blood on her black slacks.


Ananda

Ananda nodded in response to Aidan's recap of the day. Blythe asked if she would like to help, and Ananda replied, "Yes. They don't deserve this." She gazed at the humans. Most were out. The others were either unconscious or dead. "The rest we will have to leave. They are close to death anyway. They'll die soon enough. Getting these few out will be hard, so let's get going. Just then, the infamous sound of the high heels came clicking down the hallway. "I swear, I'm going to break both of her ankles someday just to stop that horrid clicking.
