RomeHer story starts with no special beginning. The large two story mansion like house was quite perusal, but it never felt like home to her. Even though she had lived there her whole life. Only the sounds of the radio and her
Great Dane Quinn’s snoring could be heard, she was home alone with only the maids, but that was nothing new. She sat in front of her vintage looking vanity as she put her make-up on. She loved school, for the simple fact she got to see people who actually cared whether or not she was alive unlike her parents who at the moment were in Paris and never even bothered to ask there only daughter if she wanted to come along, in fact they hadn’t even told her they were leaving. She gave a saddened sigh as she thought about it, never the less she painted her pouty pink lips with a pale pink gloss and brightened her face with a fake but yet selling smile. She pushed a black lip ring through the whole in her lip, as she grabbed her book bag throwing it over her shoulder. Quinn’s head shot up, he was very protective of her. He hopped up following her down the stairs. He would sleep by the door until she got home.
She pulled into the school parking lot her eyes darting around the lot as she looked for a place to park She smiled seeing her usual spot open as she pulled her
65 mustang into the spot, the group of usual preppy rich jocks standing by their trucks, cat calling Rome as she got out. Of course she knew every one of them and didn’t really take their cat calls seriously. She was a part of the in crowd, but somehow she still felt completely alone. She gave them a simple wave.
“You guys coming to my party this weekend right?” She asked stopping in front of them.
“Yeah of course, We wouldn’t miss it for the world Romie” the quarter back smirked as he made an obvious look over her body.
“You boys should head to class before your late” she smiled not noticing as she continued into the school.
She walked through the as she said hi to a few of her friends though not stopping to talk like she normally did simply heading to her first class. The day going by slowly like usual. Finally it was lunch. She thought to herself, normally she would head home for lunch being a senior she had off campus privileges, but today she decided to head to the library and study a bit. She was apparently too caught up in the text her mom had sent her to realize she was about to walk into someone. She continued walking bumping hard into Chase. Her IPhone falling out of her hands.
“Damn it” she mumbled under her breath “I’m so sorry!” She said looking up to his face, her eyes widening a bit seeing who it was.
“Chase…I…How are you? I haven’t seen you all year.” she said giving him a smile before realizing his face. “Are you okay?” she asked worried. They hadn’t talked in close to a year, but she still cared about him. She actually really missed him being in her life. He was the only one she had ever really been able to talk to.
