Jonathon watched as she walked out of the room with her mother's necklace on and then slowly followed after her. "You know," he started. "Perhaps you are a witch and your father didn't want you to know the truth because it brought your mother's illness?" The fox-kin suggested. He then felt his own hunger as she bit down into the apple. "You know I should probably head back into town and see what more I can dig up on this master vampire and the attacks on the cities. Would you want to accompany me?" he wondered.

"Everything alright?" the darkness around Aislinn spoke, it was Draygon. "I felt you awaken and thought I should check in on you." His voiced continued to echo around the room as if he were the darkness around her. It was a trick vampires of a stronger stature had learned to keep their prey guessing on their true location. It also helped against predators like vampire hunters from destroying their race completely.
