"Naomi, you scared the shit out of me! I could have hurt you. I was literally two seconds from putting forth everything to blast whatever you could have been into a smoldering pile of whatever. Come here you bitch." Naomi smiled, she could tell she caught him completely off guard, he wasn’t kidding when he said he was close to letting her have it. It wasn’t something she’d flinch over, though, not yet.
”The key element there is the two seconds. I’ll worry when you actually do something.” She smirked wide, wrapping her arms lightly in her customary bro-hug. ”I’m glad I scared you, you little shit. Now we’re even. I hope you got enough food in there to make up for it.” She let her arms drop, her joking nature now turning to an inquisiting one. ”Who’s area did you get it from anyway? All ours are tapped.”
A sudden concern started to rise in her, whether or not they needed to be worried of some less than forgiving territory owners becoming aware of their intrusion. Certain areas allowed for more autonomy than others, but she couldn’t attest to their food levels. It was all a numbers game in these times. Food levels, threat levels, troops and members, everything depended on numbers. Unfortunately the Bandits were running a little low in those lately.
