Thor considered Natasha's words carefully and could not deny that they held truth to them, truth that he had been avoiding looking too hard at. The simple fact was that he had changed and so had Jane. He had become more focussed on aiding others and becoming the type of heir his father would be proud of and Jane had become more... well demanding. As much as he did not want to think poorly of her he could not deny that she had become somewhat needy of late. When he cared for someone he wanted to be with them all of the time, he was a passionate and romantic man who enjoyed nothing more than showering the object of his affection with attention. Yet the more he thought about it the more he realised that he had been becoming frustrated with Jane and her need for him.

He frowned as that raised an uncomfortable and yet undeniable question, if he truly cared for Jane surely her neediness would not bother him so? If that were true then he needed to be honest with Jane and himself. It was not fair on her to continue the relationship if his heart were not truly in it, oh he still felt pain at the thought of being without her and he still felt saddened by it but he would not shy from doing the right thing simply because it was painful.

"I thank you Natasha." Thor said turning to face her, his gaze holding the intensity of his appreciation for her. "You have been a good friend to me and your words as always are spoken true. I hope that one day I can be of aid to you as you have been to me."
