Sari opened one eye as the boy woke up, and cocked her head. She sat up and watched him, then lowered her head and tried to get a better look at what he was doing. She pawed at the bars of the cage and turned, then looked back at him. Speaking... Could she speak? It had been long since she last spoke, not that she had learned to speak in a proper manner anyway, she had it learned by herself, so it surely wasn't great. She shook her head and pawed at the bars again, curious of what the boy was doing. He always seemed to have some kind of... plan. Something she hadn't. She had instinct, instinct was what made her like how she was now. The boy froze as a scientist walked by and she cocked her head, then watched him breathing again. She laid down and looked at the scales on her skin, the new ones were hurting. She rested her head on the ground and let out a soft wale, not wanting to be in more pain than she already was. Every time new scales came by, the pain only became more. It was a burning pain, with a horrible sting, and she couldn't do anything.

She rested her eyes on the cage of the boy again, curiously watching him.
