"Smell is actually a vital part to the tasting of food," she said intelligently, knowing it to be fact. "Quite, quite vital."
She smiled to Eddie, hoping he liked what she made. The captain liked her pastries from yesterday, but this was REAL food. Almost anyone could make desserts taste good. It was mostly sugar. Eddie would be the first tester, his opinion counting the most right now.
Hearing boiling water spill over, Minn jumped and hurried to the stove to stir one of the vegetables she was preparing. This particular delicacy turned a dark purple when cooked properly and it was the deepest purple she had ever seen on one she had made. She smiled broadly and took her seat again. The food still needed time.
"What type of meat do you like?" she asked Eddie.
