Aethyra awoke with a start, the shattered appearance of her eyes still apparent in her irises. Covered in a fine layer of cold sweat, she shook, terrified; she hadn't even dreamt, nothing. Just trapped in a nothingness, alone, mute, deaf and blind. In a fit, she pulled a blade from Alain's belt, and buried it into the folds of her dress, narrowly missing her leg, and began to saw at the heavy garment. It was heavy, and hot, and aggrivating. She tore and tugged at the gown until it fell to her knees, then sagged back into the bed before holding the blade out to Alain again. Her eyes fell on Paige, and she heaved a sigh of relief, before smiling awkwardly.
