Barbara smiled at Jade brightly. "We're going to be friends," she whispered to the girl as Mr. Shue instructed everyone to get back to class. "I can tell." She grabbed a piece of paper and wrote her name and number on it. "Here's my number," she said, offering the paper to the girl. "I'm sure we'll have more time to talk later, but in case we don't you can call me at my house."

She hoped this class went by quickly. History was not her favorite class, not by a long shot. It was just so boring, not even Mr. Shue could make it fun. She supposed it was better than math though. Now there was a boring class. She wanted to cry just thinking about it. She was smart but math just wasn't one of her strong points. She always had to ask her dads for help, not that Kurt was much better. Blaine was the math nerd of the family. Why was she even thinking about math? She raised her hand. "Mr. Schuester? When are Glee auditions?"
