Barbara was very straight forward, that was for sure, it was kind of cool though. "Um...okay, thanks," Jade said smiling and taking the paper Barbara handed to her. When her dad announced that they would have an assignment on the first day, Jade was disappointed, but she was even more disappointed when it was a group project! Luckily, her partner was Barbara, and apparently, they were going to be friends.

Suddenly, a boy entered the classroom, later than Barbara and began introducing himself. He even made sure to announce he was Sue's child. Jade wasn't sure if she was going to like this guy, he seemed conceited and egotistic, a characteristic that Jade disliked in people.
