Marie smiled at the man who replied to her threat "Sorry about that, Captain, I didn't mean to startle you. I'll make sure to announce myself, next time." he said respectfully. He sheathed his cutlass and looked back to her. He then looked to the rest of the ship. "I seem to be the first. Anything I could do for you, before I get to my duties, Captain?" The Captian shook her head, " nothing comes to mind Mister Fletcher, feel free to have a look around." she smiled " just be back up on deck when the rest of the crew arives. I plan on addressing them and I'd like my first mate to be at my side when I did."
Marie was about to continue when a hand was thrust between them and a woman said. "What do ya think?" she asked, but quickly continued "I think they're a bit too big for me." The crew memeber paused thoughtfully and then continued again, "Maybe I'll just sell 'em." She took the rings off her fingers and placed them in her pocket. She looked up at Marie who still had her sword drawn and smirked. "Ya can put that away now, Cap. Ya don't wanna hurt yourself."
Smiling Marie sheathed her sword " I supose you're right Jay, but don't you have to be at your post? It's bad luck to have to punish a crew memeber on the first day on a voyage." her eyes harden she shows how serious she was. " but if need be I can deal with a little bad luck."
