It was the first time she'd referred to him as her husband out loud, and saying the word suddenly made all of this real. It hit her hard - that realization - and suddenly the ring on her finger burned onto her skin and tightened around her fragile bone, she kept her head down when she spoke next, still maintaining her smile. "And if all we're doing is walking, you'll probably just get bored of me..." her voice started off shaky, still processing the abrupt reality of her situation, but became steady by the end of her sentence. "Maybe we could just sit down and talk? I'm not sure what about, though..."
