Cake..... cake..... oh my god I want some fucking cake......

His heavenly carrot cake was taking a bit longer than he'd have expected it to. Oh the torture it was to have that taste on the tip of his tongue, yet be unable to fully experience such a pleasure. As chilvarous as he was, he was oblivious to what was causing the delay, and it was probably for the better, to. Had Zach known that Gwen was literally crying because she was worried about him.... he might beat himself up for being the cause of a lady's tears. That wouldn't be good in the slightest, considering Zach's bigger pet-peeve was people causing girls to cry. Thus, he'd be angry at himself and it's hard to scold someone for being hit by a car randomly.

Speaking of that.... Zach was in pretty good shape considering the circumstances. He was just hit by a car full-on and less than half an hour later, he's back in the cafe. Not everyone can say that they shrugged a car off like a boss, but then again... he was resiliant to physical damage. Emotional not so much, but everyone has their weaknesses. He might just have to boast about this later on. Maybe if he became a regular customer and a say about a year passed, he could just announce it randomly. Just to mess with them, really. Something like, "Remember that time I got hit by a car? Yeah.... the car was totaled and all I lost was an MP3," something like that maybe.

Every second that passed was like someone punching him in the gut. This cake couldn't come soon enough. However, he figured that in the long run, it'd end up tasting better the hungrier he got. Zach's stomach growled, announcing its need for some form of nourishment. One hand rested on it and he silently whispered to his belly that all would be good soon. He just wondered how soon.
