"Boss? Lou?! Louella!" The brunette was startled by the voice who kept on calling her. She turned around to see her production assistant Carey with both hands on her hips and gave her a motherly scolding, "Look at you babe, your eye bags weigh a ton each and you look like you haven't slept for days! You are as thin as a stick. Have you been eating?" She filled a paper cup with fresh hot coffee and handed it to Lou.

"I, I just need to do some finishing touches with the opening clip. I just can't believe Darren actually bribed me to be a part of my own project," She complained speaking about her project's producer. Darren Goldwin, is one of the top producers in TV and had produced a lot of successful shows. Lou couldn't believe that she had finally caught his attention with her proposal and before she could jump in joy, he had approved of it and insisted that she become one of the subjects of the project.

The show is to be documented first and unlike Big Brother, it only involved a few people and it was solely for the purpose of closure and not winning any money.
Originally, the concept of the project was that 2 people are given the chance to live their dreams in Manhattan. They would be sharing it with 2 other people but what they don't know is that it will be their exes. Darren had initially asked her what inspired her to do such thing over some lunch at the Four Seasons hotel, she didn't know why but she found herself spilling every little detail about Ian. Darren made a confession as well, turns out he is a very successful gay who was touched by her idea and found his self asking his ex back to his life again. After the lunch had turned to coffee then dinner meeting, Darren had forced her to be a part of her own experiment. He said that he'd double the funds if she would include herself and Ian, the guy she told him about. And how could she refuse such thing? Double funds meant a more success for the project. She just found herself nodding to his ideas and it was late until she realized how deep the hole she got herself into.

"It's just the production is such a stress maker," She pouted and leaned her head on the wall. She played with her ID lace with her left hand and held her coffee with the right.

"Is it the show or is it Ian?" Carey was never the kind of person who'd beat around the bush for nothing, she find it more useful to ask directly.

"What? Noooo, of course not." She tried to sip her coffee as she lied but she knew Carey knew her too much to buy it.

"If you say so, I'd be at the editing room and then we're off. I can't believe I'd be seeing you on screen yet I won't be able to talk to you for the whole season," Carey straightened her body and fixed the invisible wrinkles on her dress.

"I know. I'll miss you," Lou smiled, showing her ever thousand watts smile. She hugged her friend and watched as Carey walked away. She was then interrupted by one of her staff and declared that the stars of the show will be arriving shortly. She nodded, she didn't want Ian to find out she's behind all of this. Hopefully, he won't have any idea. She just wanted to close that chapter in her life and move on, she guessed that he must be somewhat happier in life now so she figured she should be to. Maybe after this project she can come up with a show for parental closure, she shook her head and laughed at her own idea. She knows her parent would just see it as tacky to reveal their dirty laundry on national TV. They'd probably disown her after seeing her in this kind of show.

She went towards her office and closed the door behind her, she stared at her luggage and everything that she will bringing with her to New York and in the winners' apartment and a mix of excitement, nervousness and butterflies insider her stomach filled her emotions. A soft knock came from behind her door and Darren poked his head in. "Dah-ling? They're on their way to the apartment. Are you ready?" He spoke of the two other heart breakers of the show. She softly nodded and followed him.
