"Now remember, you must study the sheet I handed you, or else the test tomorrow will be difficult." said Mr. Brock, the chemistry teacher. Theodora, most commonly called Teddy, could not care less about anything that came out of Mr. Brock's mouth. She had been staring at the clock the majority of the time she was in class. School was great for the socializing part of it to Teddy, but when it came to the educational part, she would rather get punched in the face then attend classes.

Ring!

The annoying, lengthy sound of the school bell irritated Teddy. She always wondered why she was always irritated by something when she was in school. Maybe the administrators could fix it up, as the school was old. Teddy believed that if a student who was strong enough punched the wall, the whole school would simply collapse onto itself.

"Ms. Carmen?" Teddy had been sitting in her chair after the bell rang, too deep in thought. Mr. Brock noticed and wanted to shoo everyone outside of his classroom. There was a rumor going around that he did nasty things when he was alone in class.

"Sorry." said Teddy, and she slung her backpack across one shoulder and grabbed her textbooks. She walked out of the class, sighing with relief that the school day was over. Almost immediately, Teddy was hit by a passing student as he rushed out of the school.

"Excuse me!" yelled Teddy. Rude much, she thought. Rolling her eyes, she walked towards the front doors of the school. She caught sight of Alexander, nicknamed Alex, opening the door and walking out. Alex was a friend of Teddy's; although she disliked him when they met, they grew close over the past few years. She exited the school and walked to her car. Teddy was one of the few students who was allowed to park in the adult section of the lot, as she had started going to school late in her early years and was now a senior at the age of nineteen. She got in, started her car, and drove home.

Teddy's mother, Marsha, opened the front door as Teddy pulled her car up in front of her house. "Welcome home, darling!" she yelled. Teddy put on a fake smile and walked towards her.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome." replied Marsha. She was the type of mother who was always bubbly and happy, which Teddy hated. She brushed past Marsha softly and passed the many clocks that were placed against the walls. Teddy glared at the time on the way to her room. Opening her bedroom door, she took out her phone and sent Alex a text message.

Hey.
