It was a few minutes after he'd finished that his phone started to beep. He lifted it up and clicked on 'read new message'. "Hm, she must want to chat. Pfft" he mumbled.

'Hey. How's it going?' he texted back, then put his phone down and continued to search. Like usual, Alex was on a myth website, it gave him every little piece of information on any myth he could ever name. It was smart, he liked it. Then something caught his eye, an old artifact that was said to give people sub-human abilities. Did it really work? Well, he was going to find out. He clicked on the topic and read a little bit more about it.

It had peaked his curiosity. He picked up his phone, seeing Teddy had not texted back yet, then added to his text. 'How do you feel about going on an adventure?'.
