"She's looking a whole lot better and it's good that you've been taking care of her."
Vee said from next to him, he looked at her, it seemed he had been so focused on Elle he hadnt noticed her coming up from behind. Brielfy he wondered if he was loseing his edge. "I owe her, far more than I can repay." Alex said in responce then he looked back to Elle when John echoed inside of his head again.

There is a block in your mind. Have you ever taken a memory drug or charm? Anything that would cause you to forget? It said, which made Alex more than a little annoyed. However he stomached it and considered the question, his own sleeping potion could be counted but it had never given him problems. He was about to respond when something struck him, his Tonic. When he was younger his sister had given him a Tonic once, she had created it and wanted him to try it before anyone else. In return she named it after him, the memory was foggy after he drank it. He only remembered waking up in his bed the next morning. Could his sister have created the block? Perhaps accidentally? I might have. He was unwilling to share everything however, not untill he knew wether or not John was telling the truth.

"Alex, did you have any sisters? Other than...you know..." Elle suddenly spoke up, bringing ALex back to reality. "Sisters? no, just the one. For better or for worse." Even as he said the words he felt they were untrue. Yet he hadn't lied, had he? He shook the thought off. "So Vee, what are you going to do when we get into town?" He said, abruptly changing the subject.
