Sister? Why on earth would you be sitting outside of Artemis' door if you were looking for your sister? Edison raised an eyebrow at him from the distance, surely he was just a daft young man who couldn't do his research before arriving at the facility. Artemis didn't have siblings. His sister only had one child, Artemis, and she was here, locked away. The idea that Artemis couldn't be free because of her dangerous talent sent a jolt of strife through his core, but he knew that there was a greater standard of good that needed to be upheld. He was there for her as much as possible; constantly, he battled the boundary between work and family, and it tore him apart. If the boy had done his research, it would have done him no good here anyway. Edison shook his head, and behind him, the other two men were as well, but as they watched the scene play out, they noticed the second officer lower his weapon and look to the leader of the three, hoping that they could calm the fiasco, but he held his ground, gun still aimed at the boy. "Hands on your head," the officer said sharply for the third, and final time.

The third officer who had remained silent up until now stepped forward with a pair of handcuffs jangling at her side, ready to put them on him. The sound of her heavy boots clicked against the tile and echoed through the hallway. As the officer stepped forward, the leader finally lowered his weapon; it was against regulations to raise a weapon towards another officer. "Listen, kid. We might be able to get you to talk to your sister, but we have to take you in and ask you some questions first. You're in a lot of trouble for breaking in here, and you're not getting off easy, but we'll let you see your sister if we can," she spoke calmly and knelt beside him before taking one of his wrists and placing a cuff around it. It clicked into place, and again, the sound echoed through the open space. There was probably more noise through this hallway right now than there had ever been before. Avon prison was typically a quiet place unless the ones with Talent were being uncooperative, and even then, the yelps remained inside of the cell. Very rarely were they removed for testing.

Because she had spoken so calmly, and honestly, she figured that there may be hope enough instilled within him to cooperate, so she slipped the other cuff around his second wrist from behind his back, and hoisted him to his feet. Her strength may have caught him off guard, but she spent a lot of her free time training so as to not be intimidated by men. She would never want to be seen as a pushover in their eyes, but she would never want to be seen as brutish as the rest of them either, so she worked delicately to maintain a balance between the two.

However, none of them had forgotten their two fallen comrades back at the central security station, and they were not about to take this child lightly. He had committed murder, and would be treated as such. There was absolutely no way around that. "Come on, let's find you a seat," she said, ready to lead him away to another wing of the prison. "We've got some questions for you."
