Peyton stayed lying on the grass, his mind scrambled and his body ached from the pain. Tears and blood stained the boys face. He was snapped back to reality when someone tripped over him, fingers touching his head. Peyton was about to attack, thinking an Eraser was going for round two. "Peyton?" Nico's familiar voice made it clear an eraser wasn't the one grabbing him. "Peyton, what happened?" Peyton felt tears stream down his face once again as he recalled all that had happened just moments ago. His voice was shaky as he spoke, turning to look to Nico, trying to stand, or at the very least sit up. "T-They got her, Nico." Now sitting up, Peyton hunched over , folding his arms across his chest, "They got Jubilee, they had her in a van and I was so close, dammit, Nico, I was so close." Peyton now had a steady stream of tears falling down his cheeks. "Now those maniacs at the School have gotten her again." He buried his head in his knees, a sharp pain shooting through his stomach as he did. "And now I'm too beat up to follow them, and I don't know what to do Nico." His voice was squeaky as he felt the most sorrow he had in his life. All this time, he had sworn he would always protect his sister, the only true blood line he knew for sure he had in his life, and there she went, being taken by the enemy. He thought he was strong enough for the both of them, but apparently that wasn't true.

Peyton looked up to Nico, a little calmer now but his pale blue eyes bloodshot from crying, "Where's everyone else?" His voice was small, he was a little afraid of what the answer might be. "D-Did you see them take anyone else?" Peyton mentally face palmed himself as the word 'see' came up in the conversation with Nico, "You know what I mean."
