Cameron had floored the pedal of the bus as hard as he could; the bus took off with a deafening screech and the whole thing lurched violently before taking off a lot faster than Cameron though the bus could. As he roared down the street suddenly the zoo's entrance burst in a fantastic display of what could only be described as brick fireworks. The rotting elephant burst through the entrance like a giant meat-train. The creature looked far more worse for wear than when the other survivors originally met it; one of it's tusks was almost completely broken off. The elephants whole body was torn and ripped from the chimpanzees that were still hanging off of it. One of the beasts tusks had two chimps skewered to it, but it didn't seem to bother the creature. Cameron barely had time to turn the bus slightly so as to avoid a direct collision with the elephant. The good news was he managed to avoid hitting the beast completely as it charged directly out of the zoo and across to the police station. Cameron clipped it's backside and a thick, filthy smear of black tar slapped across the bus's windshield. Cameron's nose turned up as a thick, rotting smell burst through the air vents, "Oh sweet mother mary... that's worse than a public toilet!". The bus swerved dangerously from the impact, but Cameron managed to swerve and pull back onto the road without colliding with the zoo's wall.
Cameron looked into the giant side-mirror on the entrance door side of the bus and watched as the elephant - slightly stunned by the bus's collision with it's back side - charged straight into the side of the police station causing the first two level on the front side of the building to collapse and the elephant be buried beneath some of the building. Cameron's eyes were wide in disbelief, but not so much at the spectacle of the elephant but that fact that for the first time since he got on the bus he noticed that he and Lulu weren't alone. Cameron's eyes narrowed in anger and he turned another corner and slammed on the buses breaks, not even waiting for it to come to a complete stop before he stood up and turned to the group. "No way" he said firmly, "There ain't no way you are coming, get off... " Cameron pulled the door trigger and it slid open and Cameron nodded in it's direction, "We ain't got time to fuck around with you lot... This bus ain't goin' anywhere you want it to go.. We're goin' to Bridgewater Forest and you're not invited." Cameron suddenly saw Marcus sitting next to his newly acquired grenade launcher and stepped two paces and picked it up, holding it like his baby, "And you ain't gettin' anything from us either."
Hannah held tightly to a support pole on the bus as it lurched forward violently, she nearly lost her balance as it took off. She was looking straight ahead and only realised that the whole group had been separated when Marcus jumped on the bus just as it was taking off. "Oh god" she said under her breath in fear, "We didn't all get on". Hannah's internal worries however were broken when the the thunderous crash of bricks and the elephant trumpeting filled the street.
Hannah gripped the pole she was holding onto tightly with one hand and unconsciously grabbed one of Christian's hands for comfort as she watched the scene before her. As the bus hit the backside of the elephant Hannah fell forward and scraped her arm on the bus's floor. "Owww!" she called out in pain as she looked at the shallow, but very long gash down her left arm. Then she nearly vomited when she smelt the black blood-tar across the windshield, "Oh..." she hissed in recoil from the smell, "That is.." her general monologue was cut short when the hulk of a man slammed the breaks on and Hannah, once again, went flying forward and landed sprawled out at Cameron's feet.
Her stomach dropped as soon as he spoke, telling them to get out and that he and the girl Lulu were stopping at Bridgewater Forest. Hannah's momentary fear of being cast out of the bus didn't last long... It took her 3 seconds before she became furious at how rude this man seemed to be. "Hell no." she said in anger as she stood, looking to Christian, Kat and Marcus, then to Lulu and finally to Cameron locking eyes defiantly with him. "You can't...WON'T kick us off this bus" she said shakily, standing up to someone who seemed to be almost twice her size was daunting, "You practically forced us out of the police station with your stunts back there.. the both of you." she snapped, looking to Lulu, "We've even been separated from the others!" Hannah croaked, a few tears welling, "So you're going to take us! Right?" she said, looking to the others so back her up. "Besides.. Isn't Bridgewater Forest on the way to Black Falls? That's where we are going... you at least owe us to Bridgewater Forest for all the shit you just put us through!"
