Arabella was a lot slower to react than the rest of the group, but that didn't stop her from coming to Jaimie's aid almost immiediately. For the rest of the time she had been extremely quiet, not wanting to interfere with the matters of debts to vampires, but the second Shad sunk his teeth into Jaimie all bets were off.

Jumping behind Shad, she used her enchanted ring to have a wooden stake flash out on her finger. She was just getting ready to threaten Shad when Sean punched him. "Can you hold that thought for just a second?" she asked the leprechaun. Before he could answer her, she lifted her hand up to put a light shield between Shad, Jaimie and the leprechaun. Now she turned her attention back to Shad.

"Now Shad, you obviously didn't think this through," she said, going on her tiptoes to whisper in his ear. Where her breath touched, ice crystals formed. "You wouldn't want a repeat of what happened at the wedding would you?" she then tapped the stake lightly against his back. She was scared to attack him for fear of hurting Jaimie, but this needed to stop.
