Caesar had yet to really seem annoyed but now the smirk he had held vanished as his hand flung forward. The blood left in his glass vaporized and rushed at Aiden, along with a force far greater than Desmond’s aura at its most powerful flying at him, aiming to pin the werewolf against a wall. Caesar was showing why Jacob was so cautious with him, the man had a mean streak and a vampiric power well above any of them, beyond any vampire they had yet to meet, and at last Shad might recognize the man. “I grow tired of your impulsive nature… beasts like you always were a pain in my ass… just because I don’t see a way out of the Debt’s conditions doesn’t mean I don’t see a problem here kiddo.”

Jacob was about to defend Aiden from Caesar, at least berate Caesar for attacking without reason but he stopped hearing the vampire’s words, “Wait? You mean there’s something we can do?”
