Ti-yian remained on the ground, continuing to fiddle with the song stone he wore. It was his mother who had taught him the art of making them at a young age, before she had passed away. The process was simple really, at least he thought it so, but the result was so mystical that none had ever approached him asking for the secret, figuring it to be extremely complex. He played on as Azmirian soared in the quiet, empty sky above him. His claws working the smoothed surface of the rock, his eyes were free to wander across the dark blue abyss above him, dancing from star to star, each speck of light a jumping off point for the next. He watched Azmirian's dark form slowly drift down towards the Greatfire before turning and retreating into the GuiderDragon's cave.

Rekindling the fire, he lay against one wall, gazing at the flames that danced around the branches before him. He had lived in this cave with Azmirian ever since the GuiderDragon had asked him to stay on his first night. He preferred it there, as opposed to the other caves, since the GuiderDragon's cave was significantly larger than others, and with the three of them occupying it, it seemed to be just the right size. In fact, at that moment his ears caught the familiar sound of footsteps at the entrance as his other close friend Ti-iriel joined him in the cave. She nodded to him in greeting, then took her place next to him, positioned so that they could share the light of the fire.

"Beautiful night tonight." Ti-iyan commented. She looked at him, laughter in her eyes at his pathetic attempt at small talk. It was something they avoided usually, tending not to talk unless there was truly something to say, however tonight something had driven him to. He needed just a bit more contact this night, he wasn't sure why. Inexplicably understanding him as she always did, Ti-iriel leaned closer an rested her head on his shoulder. Comforted, he closed his own eyes, resting his head on the ground next to her. He'd let the GuiderDragon have his night, now was time for sleep. Still stroking the song stone, he drifted off.
