He looked at with with utter surprise before letting out a small sigh and shaking his finger at her. "No, no, that won't do. I'll get you a present whether you like it or not."

"I suppose it wouldn't be too life threatening if we make use of this time in the city and go shopping, eh? I think I brought the company card. How about you? Maybe you could help me find something for everyone, what do you say?"

"Now there's an idea!" He purred with a small, mischievous smile. "I doubt that anything will happen that the police can't handle themselves. Nice of them to give us money to spend however we want, no? I'd love to help you out with picking out presents, as long as you help me out too, though. An eye for an eye." He stopped walking as he turned his head from side to side, trying to pick out a good store they could go into first. There were plenty of choices in the small shopping district, but he wanted to go somewhere where they might have something for each of them. Then again, it might be better to just go to a different store for each present, that way he could spend more time with Jasper. He spotted a small shop across the street, the window already decorated with a Christmas theme and the front of it lit up. "Hm..how about that one the--"

"T....This is Agent R....I've had a casualty...killed by..m-my strength, I need a clean up crew at 237 frankforth...apartment 37."

Arthur's sentence was cut off by Ron's voice on the radio and all thoughts of spending time with Jasper instantly being pushed to the back of his mind. For a few seconds he questioned whether Ron's voice was all in his head, but that would just be silly. His eyes narrowed slightly and his happy smile quickly vanished as he reached his hand up to press the device in his ear. "What happened, Ron?" He asked, his voice serious as he did a fine job at keeping it from shaking as he asked the question. This wasn't the first time Ron had accidentally done something like this, and Arthur knew the guy would be greatly disappointed in himself for a while, but it had been such a long time. How could he have possibly lost control so easily and so quickly? "Listen, just head back and we can go over your route for you, capisce?" He said before bringing his hand back down to his side.

"You can head back too and I'll go over your route as well. I'm sure Ron would probably prefer having you around rather than any of us or the other agents." He said, glancing over at Jasper and giving her a forced smile. "We can go Christmas shopping later, deal?"
