Almost an hour later, as Rieto was ready to leave for his classes, he got a call. When he picked it up, he heard a lady say, "Hello, this is Multan High and we just wanted to let you know that Volos, you son, is in the principal's office for assault of another student. If you could come to the school to pick him, that would be great." The last part was said in such a sarcastic tone, even a kid could tell it was sarcasm, and before Rieto could respond, the woman hung up. Rieto sighed, wanting to just throw a melt down and cry. This was so hard on him. His boyfriend hated the kid, and this kid was making it hard to love him. Rieto just wanted his grandmother to say that he did a good job taking care of Volos, but it wasn't working out right now.

Rieto sent Morgan a text as he left the house to go pick up Volos. 'Volos got in trouble at school, so I'm going to go talk to him. Do you want me to bring you some lunch while I'm out?

Rieto hopped into his car and drove all the way to the school, drying his tears from earlier. As he came up to the school, he hardened himself so that Volos wouldn't crush his heart. Rieto needed to prove to the kid that he could be a good parent, just like his grandmother. Rieto walked into the main office and looked at the secretary, then to Volos. He let out a little breath of relief, though he wasn't sure it was for. "Come on, Mr. Masashimi. The principal will speak with the both of you now."

Rieto turned to Volos before looking to the secretary and following her to the principal's office.
