Miles looked on, shrugging as Darcy Luna walked away. “She almost reminds me of someone else I know…” Miles mumbled.

“By your leave, sir. I’ve got nothing to do, so I’ll go and…” he sighed. Well, at least it would give him an excuse to run. Running at least made him feel like he wasn’t so connected to the ground. “I will be back later, sir.”

He broke into a run, going after Darcy luna before she disappeared into the crowd. Running around people and generally trying to avoid causing trouble, he tried to keep up. But, even with his dashing, he had to take detours and soon he couldn’t find her. Maybe he had passed her? Oh well… He shrugged. Not like it mattered much to him, he thought as the fact that he was landbound sunk in yet again and he felt a wave of melancholy hit him.

A group of three crewmen passed him, laughing at his slight predicament. "Running away already, is she? Great going, Cruz!" one yelled, laughing with the others. Miles smiled and flashed a gesture that he had most certainly not learned from the Doctor, sending them into another round of guffaws.

He kept walking, his smile slowly fading. It was an okay festival, but he really didn't know why it was happening in the first place...
