Alan had climbed on top of the bus. Apparently others had the bright idea of taking the school bus too, they just weren't as lucky. However, they'd dropped a good bit of ammo, and some food. Cleaning his Beretta and finally loading it with a full clip, he noticed two new men he hadn't seen before. They must've heard the broadcast too.
"Hey guys...!"
He yelled from the top of the bus to keep some distance from the men. They seemed well equipped and Alan didn't want to be completely vulnerable in case they attacked. He'd dealt with raiders before, but usually they were in large groups. Not pairs.
"Umm... If we want to get this bus moving, we're going to need to hit that gas station you were talking about! Or... I suppose I could go alone...! That could prove life threatening though! And... dying isn't huge on my to-do list today!"
More sarcasm and snarky humor. People made friends this way, right?
