Miles nodded. It was understandable, wanting to be alone. Darcy didn't look like a person who spent all their time alone, but he didn’t really know too many people who did that. On the SkyChild, the crew had to spend all their time with each other, so he’d never had much of a chance to do something like that either.

He stretched, his muscles already complaining to him. He wanted to do something… Jump, climb, tinker with mechanics, he didn’t really care. Still, there wasn’t much to do around here, so he decided to keep talking to Darcy. “If you don’t get out much, what do you do with your time anyways? “

Now that he thought about it, the idea of being landbound and having nothing to do seemed ghastly. He was pretty sure that he’d go crazy. He could be fairly calm for a while, but he got antsy after a while. With that, his hand went to his pocket and pulled out a little metal cube with various little mechanical pieces, a propeller, and some ring-like things sticking off of it. He proceeded to start disassembling it. It was, in fact, a little toy he’d made to keep himself occupied. It could be assembled to do anything he could make iit into, and it could be sometimes very useful, actually.
