The bandits were slaughtered within minutes as the well disciplined troops quickly and with deadly poise executed a list of orders from their Lord, Charles Hossberg. Slaves scattered and searched desperately for cover. Soon, however two of them had rounded up a young woman and a young boy holding them hostage before the Lord himself.

It would be moments but on silent orders through a quietly brewing standoff one after the other went down, a bolt in the larger man's eye. While the other took one to the shoulder, the hostages would scream pulling themselves away before the young Lord would skillfully dismount. The small man had lived, crawling away, what was left of his men had routed and he was left alone, surrounded on all sides by eerily stationary men. There breaths labored and frosted, the cold air telling of a soon winter, creeping upon them all. Some wore smirks, while others only remained solemn. Their weapons at the ready, their stances maintained.

Lord Charles Hossberg would pull his hand from the hilt in a manner of nonchalance, not acknowledging the body or the actions he had just taken.

The battle was over in mere moments, and the prisoners released and encouraged to move to Ferry's Village. 18 bandits were killed while 4 routed. 3 Defenders of Hossberg were killed in the skirmish.
