“Your not gonna do that to me, are you! The whole… exploding-boom-die-die thing?!”
At this, Seth just gave Rian a look as if to say, Are you stupid?
“You know, I ought to get dressed! We’re wasting time messing around here, so…”
Seth scowled but remained silent as the boy went and got changed. As expected, he looked human.
“Oh, you know what? I could just injure myself. No need for you to strain yourself there, Seth-y boy. Wouldn’t want ya’ having to bother with little me, haha!” Rian suggested, sounding hopeful again as he had done before. “After all I respect you one hundred percent, know what I mean!~”
Seth's scowl got deeper. He found Rian annoying as hell, and would have loved to do the honors, but surprisingly the boy who wouldn't shut up actually had a point for once. He wouldn't realize it, but with Seth's growing power it was risky to try to injure him without doing the same thing he had to the human- at least not without Seth somehow getting some practice in, which he had no time for at this point.
Seth sighed. He had no choice but to go along with him, even if he hated it. Suddenly, Seth smiled at Rian, a wicked grin spreading across his face.
"Well, well, well. I would never have expected that you were that type, Rian. How masochistic of you." Seth walked over to him, expertly guarding the real reason he was letting him have his way. "Fine. I'll let you have the pleasure of harming yourself. I do hope you won't disappoint me...." He walked over to the door.
"Anyway, we've got the clothes, so let's see if we can get going. We've wasted enough time here." He motioned for Davita and Rian to follow.
