Travis watched as the chipmunk ran out the window. When Darren told him of the poor chipmunks family he sighed, "That's terrible." At the mention of eating another animal Travis shook his head, "No offense taken, I could never do that. Sounds disgusting."

"So, how have you been?" He looked at Darren. Darren seemed interesting, and maybe this year, Travis would have the guts to actually hang out with people. He made it a goal this time. He wasn't about to let this year go by without any friends. It's not like he didn't talk to people, because in reality, he loved to talk to people. That was just in his nature, Unicorns were shy, but social creatures. He was very social, given that he was also part human. Vegan of course, but a human all the same. So, mentally, he made it a goal to make friends this year.

Realizing that he was probably looking a little weird just starting at the table, he looked up at Darren and smiled a little. What a great start he was making. How could he possibly get a girlfriend, if he can't even make one friend, one that's a guy even!
