Rain smiled into the kiss. "Of course! I'm happy that we can give Caroline a home. She's so sweet, I think it'd really brighten up the place, you know?" she said. She understood his meaning about Jasper. "I know, maybe you should spend more time with her. I hope she doesn't feel left out, perhaps I should just blend into the background until she gets used to it."
Finally, they got home. "I'm gonna go check on the guys, you're okay with the bags?" Ron asked. Rain nodded and took the bags from him. "Yeah, don't worry about me. I'll put your stuff inside your room."
As she headed upstairs, she heard Ron call, [b]"I know that smell! You know, you better have made two or else I'm going to eat all y- " Ron stopped suddenly. "You all right in there?" Rain asked, poking her head in to have a look. The first thing she saw was Ron grinning rather awkwardly. She followed his gaze to see Jasper and Derek hugging each other. To tell the truth, they kind of looked like Rain and Ron that morning.
Dropping the bags outside the kitchen, Rain dashed inside and seized Ron by the elbow. "They're fine, come on!" She dragged him out of the kitchen and marched him upstairs, along with the bags.
