"What do you mean you think Estella's down here? I thought your family lived above ground." Shad huffed, he was still recovering from the fact Estella was with the demons Star called parents. He considered himself a bad influence but Star's old man was worse, at least Shad knew that the underworld was no place for a young vampire cross breed.

Annoyed Shad began his own sense search for Estella but found nothing, his aura senses could only see a few feet in front of him with his aura behaving the way it was, he couldn't seem to put it in a dormant state like usual and he could feel his fangs and wings itching to be released regardless of the uselessness of them in the heavy atmosphere of the underworld. The release of his aura made him uneasy because he felt like his entire being was on display while his energy just seemed to slip away. Star seemed fine with a deeper red to her eyes so at least she was fine.

"Forget it, we can deal with that problem now then, Where is she? If she has a single scratch on her your father is dead." Shad's aura flared. "I don't trust your parents I'll take care of her if I have to but this is not happening again." Shad shook his head in frustration.
