Chloe had a lot of fun. It was just that simple as she strolled along the shopfronts and took her sweet time. It was time she start dressing a little less like a farm girl and more like the lady that she was trying to grow into. Instead of the loose fitting sundresses she chose more form-fitting dresses and heels of all things. It took her a moment to find her balance, but walking in the uncomfortable shoes wasn't that horrible...and it certainly was an improvement over the worn out farm boots. Next came her hair, it had to change. She allowed the stylist to cut off a few inches and apply a bit of layering, giving her swooping bangs on the right side that nearly covered her eye. She hardly recognized herself, even after she was shown how to apply eyeliner and just a touch of eye shadow along with other subtle makeup choices.

She wasn't the only one who hadn't recognized the once awkward-looking farm girl as she entered the bar after dropping off her other things at home. A few of the more seasoned fighters that had watched her grow up hardly recognized her but didn't say anything as she walked on by. Her Daddy was there tonight so she didn't have to take any sort of lead, but she was going to start learning if she was going to stay in the family business.

Lenny was off chatting it up with one of his shady associates, tilting back shots of whiskey and slowly letting their senses fade as Chloe would slip behind the bar and start inventory to see what they'd need in next week's shipment. She paid little attention to the others around her and the whispers about her new look from the men and women around the place. Chloe never really had self-esteem problems, she knew she was a pretty girl but today it was rather awkward to feel like the center of the attention and to feel more than just pretty, but she'd phase out of it eventually. With her Father kicking back shots the way he was, it was likely she'd have to take control of things tonight after all.
