The Stalker burst out of the rubble and started to jump onto surrounding buildings sizing up its prey, it then landed on the ground watching the both of them and the large wolf, snarling and gritting its teeth. The Sniper readied himself to fire, but he waited, he could have killed it there and then but he was curious to see if the two young travelers would fight it. He thought to himself "Come on what are you doing? Kill it!". The beast looked them up and down with its ghastly yellow eyes, just watching.

Then it pounced at the girl, arms stretched wide ready to rip her too pieces, screeching at her seeing her as the weaker of the two as the boy had the wolf. There was a loud bang and the Stalker fell back to the ground lifeless. Smoke rose from the rifle as it had just fired on the mutation. The Sniper smiled, lit a cigar and whispered to himself "Perfect hit" as the bullet had pierced the Stalkers skull. He pulled out an infrared light and shined it at the two to show them where he was inviting them over to the building holding a white cloth over the end of his rifle to show he was not a danger, well not to them at least.
