Lyra had listened to her sibling banter about the night with interest, until she dazed into the magnitude of the room. She hasn't really taken in the splendor and started to appreciate it. Though it was much darker than she preferred, the tapestries still sparkled. The giddiness of the ball ha started to die down though and was replaced with the aroma of sweet liquor and wine. The dancing had become seductive and sloppy, while the conversation dulled.

Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she turned to see a face she had barely seen before. Nodding her head and grinning like the gracious princess everyone though her to be, she found herself a little surprised. "Yes, we are. I am Lyra and this is my sister Aurora." She wondered what the person had approached them for, and prepared herself for any horrors.
