"I'm sorry... I really didn't mean it that way." He hung his head. His robot form wasn't very good at displaying body language.
And then she asked him whether he fancied anyone... well that was an interesting change of mood. Straight away, Tom began speaking without really thinking about it.
"Well.. uh, well, no.... um... I haven't really got chance to know anyone yet."
