In actuality however, the scales were a combination of ebony with ivory spots (or maybe ivory with ebony spots, even he was unsure about that one) that formed a sort of camouflage pattern on his hide. The scales themselves were ridiculously polished however and reflected almost as well as a mirror. "I can tell though, that you're not used to dealing with Lamias. It's alright, we're rare nowadays." The malcontent is plastered all over his face a quip of a conversation he'd overheard from his father played in his head. "Aurae," He said turning to the young dragon.
