The sentinel locked eyes with the female wolf. Her words were soft and warm, and for a moment Ryker believed her. Suddenly he let out a short laugh. "One day, I'll tell you why that's not true." He said getting up and walking towards her. "But thanks for the kind words anyways."

"As far as 'lone wolves' go, I been one before. It's not all it's cracked up to be..." He said sitting down next to her. There was a time when Ryker would have preferred to be a lone wolf, "My brother once said 'if you're runnin' away from you're fears, you're runnin' in the wrong direction." He told her. Ryker struggled to think of what to say next, but before he could, he heard Leon Calling everybody for the meeting. Not wanting to move from his spot, he turned to Isis, "Can you hear him fine, We could move closer if you like?"
