Tom's eyes blinked open. He must have dropped off.
Looking around, he saw the captain still in conversation, and Saein in the act of leaving the bar. He dragged himself out of his seat, reminding himself that he had wanted to stretch his legs anyway.
He ambled outside and found her sitting by the landspeeder, welding something with her gun. He sat down next to her, resting his hands on his knees.
"I'd have thought you'd had enough of welding today!" he chuckled. "Heh... you know, I managed to salvage my old hand after Reggie removed it. I was wondering if you could teach me how to do ... stuff, so that it works again." He looked down at the brown replacement hand. "Because to be honest, this new one looks like it got fished out of a... hmm." He tapped on his knees for a bit, then realised how annoying it must be, and clasped his hands together in his lap, which really showed up the otherwise subtle size difference between his hands.
"And it's too small..." he mused.
