We're a balanced team, the five of us." she looked upwards for a few seconds, before whispering to herself "At least I hope we are..."

She placed a hand on his shoulder, not because she wanted to make him feel small or belittled in any way, simply because it was her way of reassuring someone. "I don't think you're wimpy. I cannot judge that, since I've never seen you in action, but I'm getting the feeling that when you need to, you'll be brave. Just like anyone else who has something to lose."

She took a moment before bending down to move a puppy who was biting at her boot. Apparently it had found some loose threads to bite at, which was really rather distracting. "Everybody gets nervous. I get the gun thing. I'm not much for them, but that's simply because I'm bad at using them. I always miss, it's very strange. I get the large animals too. They used to freak me out a lot. Do you mind the horses?" She asked, gesturing towards the other animals.

"I'm guessing that I'm your bullshit humanitarian, then." Callen said, shooting him a slightly insulted glance. "Force should only be used as a last resort when dealing with hostages. I'm sure that it won't help our negotiation chances if we shoot the man apart before contacting the other side. I also believe I once heard that revenge is not the optimal goal. I want to fight this man because I don't want any more to be hurt by his actions. Killing him wont set anything right. It'll just be one more dead."

She too grabbed another biscuit (some of these tasted like oranges, and they crunched wonderfully when you chewed, it was oddly addictive.) and put the whole thing in her mouth at once, because why not. She brushed off her hands, before placing her elbow against the table, and her hand below her chin, to sit more comfortably.
