Daniel held onto his bag as he almost had it dragging on the ground on his way to the pier. As he headed onto the pier, he swung the bag onto his shoulder and headed to work. He looked around, watching as people lived on their normal lives. Their perfect happy lives. He looked in front of him to see Chase. Daniel wanted to avoid the kid, but he was standing in the only way to work. Dan swore under his breath and made his way over, hoping to be ignored. Or maybe... Daniel will actually say something today.
