Jasper
Jasper let Ron baby her, getting the tissues and holding them to her nose to soak up the blood. She winced, the inside of her nose was definitely burnt, and Ron's tense, strong grip on her nose wasn't making it feel any better. Jasper knew she was probably going to need to ask Rain to heal it, but she wasn't looking forward to trying to explain the situation.
"Jesus Jas it's really coming, what happened?" Ron asked, concern flooding his eyes. She wondered why he was taking it so seriously, it was just a bloody nose, she'd done worse before. After a long look at him, she decided that he deserved to know what happened, so she took a deep breath and began, her voice nasally because of the tissue blocking her nostrils.
"It's nothing, I just got a bit frustrated and when I sighed some sparks came out, it's no big deal, bro." She explained, trying to keep her tone playful to reassure her friend. It didn't seem to have worked, if anything, it just made Ron freak out more. He started on a whole story of running away to Sweden and getting help from a family of electricians, he even got teary at the end of it. Jasper's head was spinning and she was loosing her patience with him quickly.
She grabbed his arms with her own and zapped them slightly, her sign that he was holding on too tight. "Ow- Ron please let go of my nose." She hissed, shocking them once more, a little stronger, for good measure. After he released her, Jasper took a clean tissue and dabbed at his eyes before talking again. "You need to slow down for a second, Ron, I'm not going to die." She began, "I may not have control over my powers but I'm not strong enough to ever cause that much damage to myself, I know this. I know you're trying to look out for me, and that's sweet, but if I was afraid that I could kill myself by accident, I would have gotten help a long time ago, you're just overreacting. Plus, we can't leave here, we both care about the people in this house way too much to run off to Sweden for some rewiring or something. Anyway, you and I both know that I suck at learning new languages, so that wouldn't work." She smiled slightly and reached up, pinching his cheek, "I appreciate that you want to help, but I'm fine, okay? Really. It was just a nosebleed, I've done worse." Jasper flicked her purple hair over her shoulder and kissed her friend on the cheek, finalizing the discussion, before leaning back in the couch and turning the TV on.
