Liam had already spent his morning in a plane. He came from the mountains of Colorado, and had to take a flight starting at four AM just to get to the connecting flight here, which is another unspeakable amount of hours. As such, his appearance was a little ragged, with messy blonde hair that he did his best to comb out with his fingers. His blue-gray tee shirt had a small Coca-Cola stain from a mishap at breakfast with Marc. At least the coke did it's job, he thought. I'm awake.

He'd spent most of the morning trying to sleep, so navigating this new airport to find the food court was an adventure through barely open eyes. He'd gotten a nap out of it, but it wasn't much. After eating and drinking something caffeinated, he had no trouble making it to the next gate. He sat down and checked over his carry-on bag, making sure everything was still there. It wasn't much, just enough to get them through the hotel for a night before they started their hiking trip. Almost all of his hiking gear and clothes (mostly snow gear and various weather clothes) and living utensils were in his suitcase, below the plane.

Liam boarded the plane less like a zombie this time around, shuffling through the line with his backpack in hand. He chose a middle seat, leaving the window seat to Marc if he wanted to take it. Liam was personally a fan of just taking his assigned seat, but he knew some passengers shifted around for their own enjoyment. He hadn't been sitting for very long, probably fifteen minutes, when a girl with vibrant blue hair came scrambling down the aisle to take a seat near him. She seemed to be in a rush. Maybe airplanes stressed her or something. Liam didn't like to see people stressed, as he knew the feeling far too well. He pulled out a bag of trail mix from his backpack and opened it up. He took a few pieces for himself and then offered it to her, shyly saying, "Do you want some? I don't know, sometimes I feel better once I've eaten some food I guess..." He hoped she wouldn't look at him funny for his nice gesture. It happened more than he'd like to believe or admit.
