A dart came flying towards Magiere, she rolls to the left dodging, a second dart flies over her head and before she can react a wire wraps around her saber and it flies into Stelian's hand. "Shit" she mumbled under her breath as she recovered. "A good blade, I can see why you use it in your off hand." he declares, getting the feel for it. Ayla stops attacking the dummies and turns to watch the fight, instinctively knowing that Magiere is already on the defensive, she begins to growl but stays where she is determined not to interfere. "It's a good thing I know how to fight with one" she retaliates. She steps toward him closing the distance so that he wouldn't have the long range advantage, hoping her superior swordsmanship will make up for his increased speed. At first she attempts to quick and fluid attacks where her precise movements allow her to sneak through an opponents defenses but his speed affords him the ability to parry each of her attacks He's not even attacking, just defending, what is this? she contemplates as she attacks. The sound of metal on metal reverberates through the room for ten minutes as the two battle. I need a new strategy. She takes a half step back and grips her sword in both hands and makes a powerful strike down towards him attempting to power through his defenses. She doesn't realize she has left herself open to a quick strike.
