Riley was clearly distraught over what she was about to say, she groaned and avoided making eye contact with Firvin "World War 3" she said almost inaudibly, just as she said it the whole facility shook in response to a bomb in the distance. "The government wants us to help. Millions of people have already died, they what us with our powers, to help" she said her voice filled with pain. Firvin was shocked, he could not believe his ears, how could this be happening? He was startled into non response at first, instead he just grabbed Riley and held her close in a hug. The action was filled with love hoping to comfort her in a way he knew his words couldn't. Eventually he had recovered enough to respond. "That's terrible. How can the government expect our help after how they treated us? Locking us up like animals." He pauses clearly angered, but he quickly composes himself "I'll do it, I'll help, but not for the government, for you, cause I know you'll go and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to you." He said, hoping she wouldn't be too upset with him, they never really had agreed on the rightfulness of the governments treatment of non-human sentient creatures.
