As Rayna heard the last line of
Stay she could feel a tear roll down her cheek. Even though that song was new, she felt it represented her. She wanted her mother to stay and she had dreams about her all the time. By now that tear had become a fountain, making her mascara run. Getting emotional wasn't her thing so to control it she took out her sketch book. She was getting a bit frantic as the rain was coming down harder. As she looked around her room she was uninspired. Then last night hit her like a bowling ball to a pin. She started quickly drawing the bed with herself in it, but instead of Koby, it was a dent where he should have laid. She smiled with her work as she put the book down. It had made her feel safe last night, having someone stay with her. Maybe a lot of guys were like this.
Nope. Not a chance. Glancing over to the big mirror, she noticed the embarrassing stains from her little moment of weakness. Leaving her sketch book open on her bed, she took out a wet wipe and cleaned her face, clear of all make up. Then was the sound,
**Knock*Knock** Rayna waited a few moments, still doing her own thing when she heard it again. Knowing no one else was around to get the door she trotted down the stairs to the door. As she opened the door she saw that familiar face. It was Koby. Her heart starting to flutter, she immediately closed the door right in his face. She was confused and filled with emotions.
Why is he here? God, did he do something to me last night? Her hand still on the handle, she opened it half way. He was soaking wet, making his shirt transparent to the msucle underneath.
"Sorry.. come in." As he walked in, he shook his head, like a wet dog, to get the water off.
"Nice weather we're having..." She said awkwardly. She wasn't sure if she was into him but he was there for her last night.
"So.. Uh.. Why are you here?" She asked, looking at him with her cute puzzled look.
